Accessibility statement
I'm a product designer, and I believe a portfolio should work for everyone who visits it. This site is designed and built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, on a phone, and with your own display preferences.
Standard
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which includes the requirements of the Israeli standard IS 5568.
What's in place
- Keyboard: every control can be reached and used with the keyboard, with a visible focus ring, and a "Skip to the chat" link at the top of the page.
- Screen readers: buttons, menus and fields have labels; new chat replies are announced; dialogs keep focus inside them and close with Escape.
- Images and charts: images have text descriptions, and charts in the chat include a data table for screen readers. Color is never the only way information is shown.
- Contrast: text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio in light and dark mode.
- Your preferences: in the settings menu you can change the text size (11 to 18 pixels) and choose light, dark or your device's theme. Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Any screen: the layout adapts from phones to large screens, and the page can be zoomed.
Known limitations
- Some case study images are screenshots of product interfaces. Their descriptions cover what each screen shows, but not every small label inside them; the key points are also written in the surrounding text.
- Chat answers are written live by an AI, so wording can vary between visits and may occasionally be less clear than the hand-written answers.
- Links to other sites (such as LinkedIn and ADPList) lead to pages I don't control.
How this was checked
The site was self-assessed against WCAG 2.1 AA with automated checks (labels, text descriptions, contrast, page structure) and by using it with the keyboard, in light and dark mode, and on phone, tablet and desktop sizes.
